 Veterinary Services for Your Dog & Cat

Ensure your cat or dog's health by bringing it to Pet Hospital of North Park! From spaying and neutering to vaccinations and general wellness, we offer multiple veterinary services for your pet. Other surgical procedures performed include removal of lumps and masses, treatment and care of ear hematomas and abscesses.  Spaying and neutering is recommended after the initial series of vaccines are completed for puppies or kittens to ensure your pet a longer, happier life.

Dental  Services:

Teeth Cleanings are Important to Prevent Gum Disease, and more serious illnesses like Heart, Liver, or Kidney Disease 
Dentals are performed under Anesthesia ~ Teeth Extractions May be Necessary

General Exams (By Appointment Only):

  • Physical checkup of Eyes, Ears, Heart, Lungs, Skin, Discuss Any Owner Concerns
  • Ear Infection  Treatment Including Ear Cleaning, Foxtail Removal and Medications
  • Fecal Test Necessary to Determine Presence of Internal Parasites
  • Puppy or Kitten De-Worming Every 2 Weeks (Annually As an Adult)
  • Blood Work for Older Pets

Dog Vaccinations:

  • Rabies—Necessary to obtain Licensing (Required by California Law)
  • Distemper • Parvo • Corona—Highly Contagious and Deadly Viruses                                Symptoms include vomiting and diarrhea
  • Bordetella—Upper Respiratory Infection causing a Persistant Cough                                  Contagious to other Dogs

Cat Vaccinations:

  • Feline Distemper (Panleukopenia)—Contagious, Deadly- Causes Vomiting/Diarrhea
  • Rabies
  • FIV (Feline Immuno-Deficiency Virus)—Feline AIDS
  • Feline Leukemia—Fatal Form of Cancer Caused by a Virus
  • FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis)—Usually Fatal & Contagious Virus
    • Caused through Direct Contact of Contaminated Surfaces
    • Affects Eyes, Lungs, Brain, Heart, & Abdominal Organs
    • Symptoms Include No Appetite, Weight Loss, Runny Eyes, Depression, & Fever
